Audited Financial Statements

An audit of the finance of the Plan is carried out every year by an independent auditor. The Joint Board of Trustees (JBT) has moved away from producing General Purposes Audited Financial Statements and is now producing Special Purposes Audited Financial Statements effective January 1, 2021 as recommended by the Finance and Audit Committee of the CEPP. This is the common practice of many pension plans and will provide cost savings to the plan. Relevant financial information can be found in the annual Reports to Members. Copies of the Special Purposes audited financial statements are available to plan members upon request.
